Health Charter Covid-19

At Woolmarket House we are taking the necessary precautions and following the guidelines provided by the British Government to minimise the spread of the virus. We have set up procedures and routines for our guests and staff.

PRE ARRIVAL

We politely request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you call us to postpone your stay. These include a high temperature and a new and persistent cough.

Prior to your arrival you will receive a confirmation email with all the necessary information about your stay and contactless check in.

ARRIVAL CHECK IN

Our check-in process has been streamlined to allow for a reduced-contact experience. You will be sent full details in your confirmation email.

Guests who fall ill while staying with us are asked to notify us immediately so that appropriate healthcare advice can be sought and safety measures taken.  We have thermometers at reception should you feel concerned during your stay.

A hand sanitising station is provided at the entrance to Woolmarket House and we politely ask you use this before entering the building.

Communal areas have been reconfigured where necessary and marked out to ensure social distancing can be maintained at all times.

All surfaces, screens, door handles and equipment are regularly cleaned and sanitised throughout the day and after use.

We have been advised against handling our guests’ luggage or showing you personally to your room. However, we are always happy to help and will ensure we do so with your safety in mind.

BEDROOMS and BATHROOMS

Hand sanitiser is provided in all our bedrooms for you to use and we have streamlined welcome trays with single use items replaced after each guest.

Every guest bedroom and en-suite will be fully sanitised before each stay and sealed to ensure no contamination occurs prior to your arrival.

Linens, towels and robes are professionally washed on a high heat, with added sanitisation.

Any printed material has been laminated and will be sanitised before and after your stay.

Should you prefer the housekeeping will not enter you room during your stay. Please advise us when you check-in. You will be able to leave a message for one of the team.

FOOD and DRINK

We offer a room service menu for dinner from Michael’s, our in-house restaurant.  If you would like to book a table to dine in the restaurant, please call to make a reservation 01386 840826. Booking is essential.

We have ensured our dining spaces and terrace have been configured to comply with social distancing.

We will be offering an à la carte breakfast for you to enjoy during your stay. To enjoy breakfast in our dining room we require guests pre book a time slot. Details of how to do this are provided in your booking confirmation email. Alternatively room service breakfast is available.

The well-being of our staff is one of our top priorities therefore we have implemented necessary health checks prior to looking after guests. This includes temperature checks and “wellbeing” chats to make sure everyone is happy and healthy to come to work. Face masks will also be used where necessary to keep both guests and team members safe and comfortable. 

CHECK OUT

To check out, all you need to do is return your room key to the box in reception. We will automatically take payment for your stay using the debit or credit card details we hold on file.

You may request a final bill to be emailed to you at reception. If you did not book directly with usl, you will need to please supply an email address to the reception team as we will not have these details for you.

We ask that you please use the hand sanitisers before leaving Woolmarket House.
