The secret ingredient to the perfect break is fabulous food and we are adapting our processes to ensure we can continue our same service and adhere to all the appropriate Covid-19 safety guidelines - to ensure our guests and staff safety.

Breakfasts have always been a hearty affair. Ingredients are specially sourced from the local farmers’ market, award-winning butchers and bakers, and artisan producers to provide a truly authentic taste of the Cotswolds.

Sadly buffet options are no longer possible, but we still offer our delicious choice of muesli or cereals; fresh fruit; yoghurt; toast; fresh croissants and orange juice all either served in your room, or by pre booking a slot at the spacious breakfast table. You will receive all the details with your confirmation email.

If you want a more hearty start to the day then anything from porridge to a Woolmarket House-style full English breakfast, or smoked salmon and free range eggs, can be ordered from the kitchen the night before. There’s even a ‘breakfast to go’ service for those in a rush.

Housed in our same listed 17th century townhouse is Michael's; our family-owned Mediteranean restaurant, popular with guests, local residents, visitors and foodie critics. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and supper can be served in your room or taken in our private dining room. Even though we have our own popular restaurant, we can offer local recommendations and even call ahead and make reservations for you. This area of the Cotwolds is packed full of fabulous restaurants, cosy pubs or hip bars, giving you a wide choice. Exclusive use and private dining for groups is also available on request.
